1. The essentials
Photo analysis and virtual colour try-on run on your device. MiraHue does not operate a photo or analysis server, require a MiraHue account, sell your personal information or use your photos to train models. The app has no advertising SDK or cross-app advertising tracking.
Saved projects are stored on your device. When private iCloud synchronization is available, durable project content also synchronizes through Apple's CloudKit service to your Apple Account's private database. Your device backup settings may create additional backups. On-device analysis does not mean that every copy of your photos always stays on one device.
2. Photos and information derived from them
You choose a photo with Apple's system photo picker or take one using the camera after granting permission. MiraHue receives the selected or captured image to check its quality, locate visible facial and clothing regions, analyse photo colours and create a virtual colour preview. Selecting a photo does not give MiraHue unrestricted access to your photo library.
Processing can produce temporary facial landmark coordinates, segmentation maps and region masks, as well as observations such as sampled skin and hair colours, lightness, chroma and contrast. These are used for colour analysis and placing edits, not to identify or authenticate a person. MiraHue does not create a face identity database or infer medical conditions, ethnicity, age, gender or attractiveness.
Saved projects can contain the original portrait, durable region masks, photo-feature observations, analysis results, recommendations, palettes, editing instructions and project metadata such as dates and version information. Temporary landmarks and intermediate model outputs are not separate durable cloud records.
3. Local storage and preferences
MiraHue uses the app's local storage and iOS file protection for durable project files. It also stores preferences and app state needed for features such as onboarding, privacy acknowledgement, language selection and the free-photo allowance. Thumbnails, working previews and temporary processing files may be created locally.
Durable project files are eligible for device backup. Whether Apple or a computer keeps a backup depends on your device and backup settings. Rebuildable caches and temporary export files are excluded from backup by the app. You control device access and backup settings; no storage or transmission method provides an absolute security guarantee.
4. Private iCloud synchronization
When available for your device and Apple Account, MiraHue synchronizes the original portrait, durable masks, analysis and palette information, editing instructions and project metadata to your private CloudKit database. This supports restoring saved projects and making them available to your devices using that iCloud account. Rebuildable thumbnails, working previews, temporary PDFs and transient model intermediates are not synchronized as project records.
Apple processes this storage and synchronization under its own service terms and privacy practices. MiraHue does not make these projects public or send them to a developer-operated analysis service. See Apple's privacy information.
Synchronization depends on iCloud availability, connectivity, account status and storage space. A locally saved project may still be waiting to synchronize. Check the app's sync status before relying on restoration after removing the app or changing devices. Your iCloud account can be different from the Apple Account used for App Store purchases.
5. Retention and deletion
Saved projects remain until you delete them. Subscription expiry does not delete your saved projects. Remove Local Copy removes a synchronized project's local content while retaining its private iCloud copy for later restoration. The app may refuse local removal while changes remain unsynchronized.
Delete Everywhere removes the local project and queues deletion of its corresponding private CloudKit content. Deletion must synchronize with Apple and other devices; it may remain pending when offline or when iCloud is unavailable. Small deletion records may remain to prevent an older device from restoring deleted projects. Wait for the app to finish synchronization before uninstalling if you want pending cloud deletion to complete.
Deleting the app removes its local app container but does not itself request deletion of already synchronized private iCloud content. This also does not cancel an App Store subscription. Copies in your photo library, exported files, other apps and existing device or computer backups are separate; manage or delete those copies through their respective services and settings.
Temporary export files are cleared after sharing or cancellation and on a later app launch if an export was interrupted. Other caches and temporary processing files may be replaced or cleared as the app operates. Support correspondence is retained while needed to handle your request, resolve a dispute or meet an applicable legal obligation, then deleted when no longer needed. Apple and hosting or email providers manage their own retention under their applicable policies.
6. Purchases and subscription status
Apple handles Premium purchases and payment information. MiraHue uses StoreKit to receive and verify information such as the purchased product, transaction identifiers, purchase and expiry dates, introductory-offer eligibility, renewal status and refunds or revocations. This information is used to provide and restore access to Premium.
MiraHue does not receive your full payment-card details or send receipts to a developer-operated purchase server. Apple independently processes account, payment and transaction information under its terms and privacy policy.
7. Exports and support messages
When you choose to export a report, the PDF is generated on your device and can contain your original portrait, analysis and recommended colours. You select where to save or share it using the system interface. The recipient or service you choose then handles that copy under its own terms. MiraHue cannot recall copies you have shared.
If you email support, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to reply and resolve your request. Our email provider also processes the correspondence to deliver and store it. Please avoid sending portraits, payment details or other sensitive information unless they are necessary for the issue you want help with. We never need your Apple Account password.
8. Diagnostics and tracking
MiraHue does not include a third-party advertising or analytics service. Its local analysis runtime does not upload photos or model inputs for telemetry. The app is designed to keep portraits, masks, facial measurements, receipts and account identifiers out of application diagnostics.
Apple may process crash or usage diagnostics according to your device's analytics-sharing choices and its own privacy practices, and may make developer diagnostics available through its platform. Information you deliberately include in a support message is handled as described above.
9. Website hosting
The public website and legal pages use Cloudflare for hosting and delivery. To serve and protect a page, Cloudflare may process connection and request information such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information and traffic-routing data. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
The website does not provide a portrait upload, account registration or payment form. We do not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts or non-essential cookies. Hosting security measures may process technical information independently of page scripts. Following an external link opens a service governed by its own privacy policy.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
You can choose which photos to provide, stop using analysis, change camera permission in iOS Settings, manage iCloud and backups through Apple, use the app's project-deletion controls, and decide whether to export or email information. Disabling permission or synchronization does not automatically delete copies already saved.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, and complain to a relevant privacy authority. Contact gh111133@163.com to exercise applicable rights. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify and address your request; do not send an identity document unless specifically needed and requested.
Because we do not operate a user-photo server or a MiraHue account system, we cannot retrieve your private project library from a support email address. We can explain the in-app and Apple controls for information held on your device or in private iCloud, and address information we hold, such as your support correspondence.
11. Children, changes and contact
MiraHue is not directed specifically to children. Where local law requires a parent or guardian's authorization, obtain it before providing personal information or making purchases. If you believe a child has sent us personal information without the necessary authorization, contact us so we can address it.
We may update this policy when the app, website or applicable requirements change. The revised page will show its update date. Material changes will be brought to your attention through an appropriate notice, and consent will be requested where required. Questions can be sent to Grey at gh111133@163.com.
